RESUMEN

En este trabajo nos proponemos analizar los problemas educativos que se manifestaron en el Congreso Pedagógico Internacional (1882) y el Congreso Pedagógico Nacional (1984) en Argentina. El objetivo principal es comparar ambos momentos del debate educativo a la luz de sus contextos políticos transicionales para extraer algunas reflexiones que permitan parangonar ambos congresos. Para tales fines examinamos los temarios que se discutieron en ambas instancias plasmados en documentos producidos al calor de las discusiones como actas, discursos y trabajos contemporáneos a los hechos. Creemos que es posible establecer comparaciones entre algunas problemáticas educativas a pesar de la distancia temporal entre ambos congresos y que las mismas mantuvieron vigencia a lo largo de un siglo. Los problemas edilicios, la formación de los maestros, la educación cívica, el papel del Estado y la refundación nacional fueron algunas de las cuestiones que estuvieron presentes en ambos momentos y que reflejan cierto vigor de las discusiones político-educativas.

ABSTRACT

In this work we propose to analyze the educational problems that manifested themselves in the International Pedagogical Congress (1882) and the National Pedagogical Congress (1984) in Argentina. The main objective is to compare both moments of the educational debate in the light of their transitional political contexts in order to extract some reflections that allow both conferences to be compared. For such purposes, we examine the agendas that were discussed in both instances, reflected in documents produced in the heat of the discussions, such as acts, speeches and works contemporary to the facts. We believe that it is possible to establish comparisons between some educational problems, despite the time gap between both congresses, which remained in force for over a century. Building problems, teacher training, civic education, the role of the State, and national refoundation were some of the issues present at both moments and that reflect a certain vigor in politicaleducational discussions.
